Film from Fiervvás duoddarii – a textile workshop in Lofoten Summer 2020

"Fiervvás duoddarii / Fra fjære til fjells / From the shoreline" to the mountains was a four-day workshop with distinguished textile artists Britta Marakatt-Labba and Hilde Hauan focusing on their expertise in embroidery and plant dyeing. The short film showing harvesting of wild plants in the mountains and the shoreline. It also includes short talks by the two artists. Watch the film now with English subtitles here
